In Gary, shops are busiest on Monday mornings and before holiday weekends, so a mid-week appointment gets a car seen faster. Labor rates across Indiana vary by neighborhood and by shop type, from small independents to dealership service bays, and mobile mechanics now cover many routine jobs in the driveway. Before authorizing a repair, ask for the estimate in writing, whether the shop warranties parts and labor (12 months / 12,000 miles is common, some offer more), and whether it can provide a loaner or a shuttle. Check the listing for hours, the makes the shop works on and its Google rating, then call ahead, since walk-in capacity is limited at smaller shops.
Hours are published for 6 days a week. On most of those days it is open 8 am–8 pm. Note that it does not open on Sunday. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. I had an amazing experience with this shop! They fixed the throttle body, radiator, coolant system, and A/C condenser on my 2018 Chevy Equinox. From start to finish, they were professional, honest, and kept me updated throughout the process. Now my Equinox is running perfectly with no issues, and I couldn’t be happier with the work they did. If you’re looking for a trustworthy mechanic who does quality work, I highly recommend bringing your vehicle here. I’ll definitely be coming back for any future repairs. Thank you for the excellent service!

Lamont is a life saver! Service was straightforward and quick! In and out within an hour. He's very knowledgeable as well, breaking down the issue, letting me know what parts it needed and why my car was sounding like that. Very down to Earth. Prices were very reasonable as well. I spent less than half of what I was quoted from other auto places. May God continue to bless this man and his business! 🙌🙏
